Peppermint Jim had the honor of talking a little mint with the Clinton County RESA Preschool, Imagination Station.
It was a cold fall morning as the children all bundled, climbed the stairs onto the wagon to experience their possible first time in a mint field. From teacher, to parent, to chaperon and bus driver, everyone demonstrated so much care and kindness to the kids as a group and individually. We wholeheartedly commend the RESA program and teachers who provide this positive learning experience.
Jim states, "while the kids were the youngest group I have talked to, they asked some very good questions and they were wide eyed with enthusiasm. This was truly a great sharing experience, and I hope this field trip will be one that the kids will remember. I envision the future through the eyes of these children that circle around me. They will be our artists, engineers, doctors, athletes, professionals of every kind, even future farmers or movie star."
Perhaps one day one of these children will grow up to be an E Athlete (Environmental Athlete), someone who cares about wildlife preservation, and our Michigan Great Lakes. We all realize that it is important to do our best to educate. We certainly know that RESA provides their best. Thank you for the visit RESA and Imagination Station!
Peppermint Jim and the Imagination Station, teachers, and parents give a shout out to our friends at ORGANIC PRODUCER MAGAZINE.
